The Goodfoot will have an art opening, Last Thurs, Aug 27 from 5-2:30.  The show will be up until Sept 24.  The artists this month are Klutch (Portland) & Ripper 1331 (LA)

The original Vinyl Killers Klutch and Ripper 1331 have teamed up once again for what promises to be the blowout show of this year. They are being somewhat tight lipped about the details except to say that it is  going to be positively negative.  However, they have promised to stuff The Goodfoot to the rafters with corporate coffins, dream smashers, robotic headbangers, CEO zombies, teenage church burners, and much, much, more. Like a great band that just keeps getting better these two artists feed off of each other and continue to exceed their already high standards.

Klutch, best known as the cranky old punk responsible for the Vinyl Killers project, has been creating visual mischief for over two decades. From his work with the early 1980's hardcore punk scene and the legendary Skull Skates, to painting backgrounds for Nike ads, his work has appeared around the world on t-shirts, skateboards, city walls, magazines, and galleries. In 2005 the suite he created at San Francisco's Hotel Des Arts was featured in Time magazine's annual "Best Of" issue.

Ripper1331 is an LA based artist who has spend the past 15 years working in Corporate America.  Through a mixture of silk screening and stencils Ripper1331 wants to encourage the youth of today to go out and join Corporate America, soak in the culture, enjoy the perks and take that step towards becoming The Man they know they could be.

You can view and purchase art from the entire show after Sun, Aug 30th
