Stencil Art Exhibition "Major Razor" is an exhibition that involves some stencil artists the world to participate in this event.

The idea originally was when we gathered in an alternative space named Gardu House, which is this space provides an opportunity for friends street artist to be exhibited even hold a project with of urban art, street art, and artist initiative such as: sticker, wheapaste, grafity, posters and etc.

In this stencil art exhibition we want to develop appreciation of the works of artists abroad as well as local stencil. Where we can do some projects such as: workshops, working together in public space, shared experiences and etc. Some participants will be invited to participate in later events:

Sometimes images and ideas stick out in one's mind, screaming to be created.
For a stencil artist, these images have to stick around until the paper gets cut.
Then there must be a room full of patience while the images get painted, or the wet stencils might stick!

Join us and discover your own sticky reasons for enjoying some fun art.

There will be free stenciled stickers (of course)... beer, wine while supplies last
Density will also have a special sale opening night.

9 Dec.:: Peat Creates Maplehood (MO, USA)

Peat will bring the 'Hood' to Maplewood by transforming the gallery into an urban landscape. Featuring new works on painted street signs, electrical panels, empty spray cans and other urban elements. The show will also include actual pieces from an abandoned North Saint Louis Tire factory that he tagged up for a street art installation/party to benefit City Academy prior to demolition.

WALLFLOWERS
contemporary urban art exhibition

Following «PUBLIC PROVOCATIONS», the new exhibition is opening on Dec 03, 2011 at the Carhartt Gallery, entitled «WALLFLOWERS». A new take on urbanism, creating the dynamic feel of the city in a new and unique setting. 10 International Artists will be creating art directly on the walls of the exhibition structures. The complexity and energy of this modern art form will be revealed in all its facets, bringing color to the drab gray of winter! or For the first time there is an exhibition poster designed exclusively by Ripo from New York in a special limited-edition available for purchase.

19 Nov. :: Blek's 60/30 (SF, CA)

941 Geary is pleased to present 60/30, a new collection of works by Blek le Rat, the French artist credited as the Godfather of stencil art. The exhibition will be the largest show Blek has put on, and one of the most historically significant the street art community has seen. There is an opening reception on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 6-9 pm. The exhibition is free and open to the public for viewing through January 7th, 2012.
