And they were the lucky ones among those who have had run-ins with graffiti "crews," or gangs.
Over the past 2 1/2 years in Southern California, three people have been killed after trying to stop graffiti vandals in the act. A fourth died after being shot while watching a confrontation between crews in a park.
New Pics: Hand Stencils and the Blender
Headed out to the Grampians National Park for a few days, and found hand stencils at one of three rock art sites I visisted. Also walked around the inside of Ha-Ha's Blender space and took as many photos of the stencils that he's working on and that are on the inside walls.

First Batch of Melbourne Uploads
Day two in Melbourne. Haven't gotten out much today due to some net zombie time. Blogged yesterday and now waiting for the slow upload to finish. Wish I had time to pick through these photos and credit artists. Too many stencils to even individually photograph! The Lanes run here so many great spots to find stencils. More too, from a quick drive today. Off to visit Peat and give him his power adapter.
