Just in time for the global 350 Protests, Inhabitat.com features Jesse Graves' mud stencils. Using mud is a great idea. Not illegal (can be washed off) and fun (who doesn't like playing in the mud?).
Inhabitat's post is mostly just rehashing what's on Jesse's site, but using better media is always something to think about. Especially when our spray cans aren't healthy at all!

I don't know if Soule pointed you to the Seattle City Hostel Project, but both she and I stenciled our rooms we got to paint in August. There's a pretty dope website that can give you a virtual tour. Hers is #218, Mine is #206. [I noticed a few other rooms with stencils too. - R.]

The collaboration of a visual artist and an experimental musician has resulted in a most interesting and thought-provoking artistic project. Mariusz Waras and Krzysztof Topolskis spectacular site-specific installation was made specifically to be exhibited in the biggest room at the Centre of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu in Toruń.
