Welcome to the new/updated site! The Archives and search function may look a bit different, but it is still the same good time. Since 2002, your old-school website for all things stencils. Please consider donating what you can to support the much-needed upgrade. Photo submissions always welcome. Enjoy and stay curious.

Donate any amount.

Parallelized - New Magazine for 2006

We want to take all the things we like and put them in a mag, no words (just credits)... sounds daft? It might be... but daft can be good like concrete can be beautiful. We are inviting submissions of images of stencil/poster/sticker art or any other documentary of urban aesthetics - the first issue has a photo-story of views from hotel windows (starting to get it?) If you would like to get your pics and name in print email parallelized@phazer.co.uk. for more info. We hope to launch Feb 2006 so keep the entries coming...

Jstseeds artist update 11.05

I'm almost finished collecting images for my upcoming book Reproduce & Revolt: Radical Graphics for the 21st Century. If you haven't sent work in yet, or don't know what I'm talking about, check out the pdf of the call:
www.justseeds.org/calls/R&Rcall1.pdf

I've extended the deadline by a couple weeks.

I'm also giving a talk this month in New York City at Bluestockings Books, if you're in the NYC area, check out #2 below....

Last Night a VK saved my life

Seeing people get so stoked on the show was a huge boost for my spirits. With all that I do I often become pretty grumpy about shows and all the egos, games, and general crap involved. But last night I realized that people really love the VK shows and that alone is reason to keep pushing on. Seeing all those wet people smiling, laughing, and getting excited about art was an amazing thing to be a part of and I felt lucky to have played a part of that.

Finished art

Hey all, new to the site and have just got our shit together and put up our own website, we have also created a commrades section so if you want to get your stuff posted on our site send it in and if we like it we will post it up. We hope to get enough to turn over the page every month. Take it easy, later A7

Vinyl Killers 3 Returns To Portland

From its start in a NE Portland backyard just 2 years ago the Vinyl Killers shows have developed into a widely recognized and well-respected name in the global street art scene and beyond. Artists from around the world continue to pick up on painting records and vinyl work is now a staple of many street art exhibitions. During the past year there has been several other vinyl shows held the U.K., Australia, and Denmark. In April the VK collective was invited to do an installation in the lobby at San Francisco's Hotel Des Arts.
