* PURE EVIL resides within the Dark Sciences of the Art world, nestled neatly somewhere between graffiti and Brit Shock. He assassinates popular iconography, dosing it with political satire and populating it with infamous despots and dictators. The ideas tread a fine line between the subversive and the nerdy and in doing so create a comfortable stage from which he snowballs his audience with highly charged critiques on the state of both World affairs and other intergalactical issues concerning Alderon and Hoth. Not shy of confrontation he embraces the chance to shock with elan . This is very modern graffiti at it's freshest and most humorous, and if you don't love the ‘Panda's Rock’ print; then your heart is black and made of sewage.

** Ben EINE is one of London's most prolific and original street artists having started his career over twenty five years ago as a common vandal, he has toned and developed his unique style into something which has been described as "the Fiona Rae of graffiti and spray paint". Eine specializes in producing huge letters on shop fronts across London, it has recently been said that "...Eine is doing for letters of the alphabet what Banksy did for rats and smiley policemen".... whatever that means.
Eine's work has been exhibited in New York, Tokyo and all over Europe including V1 in Copenhagen and Colette in Paris. His painting commissions have also taken him worldwide to as far away as Israel, Australia and India. Born 1970, Ben Eine lives and works in London.

*** NELLY DUFF is c**kney rhyming slang for LIFE… Duff rhymes with puff, puff meaning breath, as in ‘breath of life’. Which is where the phrase ‘...not on yer nelly!’ originates. As far as we know Miss Duff was a tattooed, arm wrestling pin-up girl, who walked the streets at night in a hoodie. THE NELLY DUFF dusty old gallery is situated on the very lovely Columbia Road (150 year old flower market street) in Shoreditch, East London. Purveyors of the finest in street art and working with the streets best Artists to devolp stand out work. Come and say Hi on a Sunday morning (bring your hangover - we don’t mind) and enjoy a bagel and a bunch of daffs too.
