I have a showing coming up on December 11th at Guerrero Gallery here in San Francisco.
Guerrero Gallery is located at 19th and York in SF's Mission District.
It is entitled "Even Keel" which reflects the artwork , not only in subject matter, but in process.
This exhibition will be different than any of mine you may have seen in the past, because not only have I made some paintings I am really proud of, but me and Andres from Guerrero Gallery, have taken the stencils I used to make the paintings, deconstructed them, then reassembled them in to art objects all their own. This is in an effort to really expose the process and exhibit the highlights of each stencil by cutting them apart and sewing them back together it a way that shows not only the image but the intricacy of the layers and intensity of process. Each one will be displayed in a white on white floater frame, and are as clean as they come.
