This Saturday I depart for the Stencil Festival in Australia. This marks my first trip to Australia, but the second time i have shown at the festival. I will be showcasing artwork, debuting new work as well as doing a live painting demonstration on Saturday the 19th.
This marks the 3rd year of the Stencil Festival. Each year the Festival grows by leaps and bounds. This year promises to be the best so far. In addition to Melbourne, the festival will also travel to Sydney for the first time.
The exhibition dates of the festival are May 18th-22nd in Melbourne and June 1st-5th for Sydney.
If anybody is in Melbourne it would be great to catch up folks over there. If anybody has any suggestions on what, who, or where to check out let me know. Provided i do well in Melbourne, i am considering extending my stay and traveling with the Festival to Sydney to participate up there.

THINKSPACE GALLERY & WORKHORSE STUDIOS

Perhaps the most exciting news is that Thinkspace and Workhorse have merged their creative talents to bring you a better Thinkspace Gallery. Recently Thinkspace gallery lost their gallery space on Spalding Avenue. After discussing the possibilities, Workhorse and Thinkspace have agreed to join forces.
The Workhorse Studio at 4210 Santa Monica Blvd will now be known formally as Thinkspace Gallery. Workhorse will continue to run operations such as the Workhorse Mobile project, as well as using the facility as studio space.
This joining of forces will allow both companies to pool their talents, resources, and knowledge in order strengthen their respective business.

Limited Edition Shirt

As part of the Stencil Festival i have worked with Danger Press in Atlanta Georgia to produced a limited edition shirt for sale. The total edition will be limited to 50 shirts. The shirts retail for $50 USD. The shirt is printed on an American Apparel shirt. The design is printed with discharge ink base, with a silver foil print on top. Its a damn fine shirt.
30 shirts will be sold in Australia for the Festival, and 20 will be sold in general release. For those interested in purchasing one, please feel free to contact me at logan@workhorsevisuals.com
