Here is the basic information on the jam, we are trying to get a list together of writers so if you can come please RSVP..The main walls (front and side) will be themed "Transformers" we are trying to have the hottest writers on these walls, the background will be primed black, ** If you are on this wall you can rock transformers if you want to, otherwise, myself, plan, kasso, and other local talent will pull it together for the next few weeks after the jam. If anyone can kick in for the black buff paint or has connections for scaffolding (I am pretty sure I can get a tax write off), let me know! Any Bands? DJ's ? Breakers? After 9 long months, we are thrilled to present to you our new baby turtlehead. As you can all imagine the last few months have not been pleasant.
We have managed to work our way through 40 canvases, 7 tubes of red acryllic, 6 tins of black spray paint, 4 rolls of masking tape, 600 t-shirts, 900 labels, 1200 tags, 1 numbering device, 1 badge machine, 2000 badges, and many sleepless nights.

http://www.turtlehead.ie finally arrived on Tuesday 29th August 2006 at 5.45pm weighing in at 15mb. Baby and parents are doing fine and visitors are welcome straight away. But please be gentle as she's only little and she might be teething.

If you enjoy her as much as we do, please pass her on to your friends and loved ones. She loves the attention.

Cheers,

Keith & Bridgette

Biters are afoot always

Submitted by russell on
I have had to search the internet and find out who bit me.  But it looks like it has happened a few times,  I am still finding other places.  Like this one! This is an article written in the spring of 2005, also after the date I originally posted my stencil onto stencil revolution. Here is a link to a pdf that was released by Variant, it is a an article written about stencils.  One thing was omitted, my credit.  Its good enough to be used on the header of the paper with photos of Banksy and other artists, but not to give me credit BeMoR187  just incase you dont believe i have skills, hit me here on myspace Rev Harvey Wallbanger aka Bemor187

(1) Art Auction for Daniel McGowan

We're writing to you to ask for your help. Visual Resistance is
planning a gallery show and art auction to raise money for the legal
defense of our friend Daniel McGowan.

Daniel is an environmental and social justice activist who was
unjustly arrested last December as part of a multi-state sweep on
environmental activists by the federal government. He was charged in
federal court on multiple counts of arson, property destruction, and
conspiracy. Daniel asserts his innocence and has pleaded not guilty
to all charges. He is facing a minimum of life in prison if convicted.

Daniel is also a close personal friend and a well-known and well-loved
member of the New York City activist community.… Read more
